Accounts Receivable

If you have service contracts where the customer pays for supplies and the service is included, you can now set up the supply pricing as a contract pricing table, a price level pricing table, or a special price.  Previously you could only use customer special prices.  Now you can also set the price code of the customer account and use these pricing methods.

Service Dispatch

A map button has been added to the display calls, display calls for tech, and display PM calls screens.  Click the map button to display a map with pushpins for the outstanding service calls.  The pushpins are color coded, green, yellow, and red which match the color coding used in the display calls screens.
The machine lists report now has an option to display a map showing the locations for machines printed on the report.
The mapping features require Microsoft MapPoint 2002 or higher.*

Sales Prospecting and Telemarketing

There are many changes to the sales prospecting system.  Some of the changes also are used in the telemarketing system.
The prospect report for equipment now has a new format.  The prospect will only appear once with a listing of all equipment found.  Also, the qualifier codes, sic codes, and contacts will be listed.
The follow up report now includes any prospect tasks not completed.
You can now search prospects by email address.
Previously, you could only print call sheets if an appointment was scheduled and the call sheets were created as part of the follow up report.  Now, every report that displays the mail merge option screen can create call sheets.
When doing a build merge, and you select to create an email merge, the program automatically creates a spreadsheet of the email addresses.  The spreadsheet will be located on the local station in the same folder as the programs.  The spreadsheet name is always rcsemail.xls.  The spreadsheet has columns for email address, prospect company name, contact name, and phone number.  The spreadsheet can then be sent to a 3rd party email distribution company if desired.
The inventory usage report and comparison reports now have the option to print for a specific customer class code or 'all'.  This allows you to print a usage report by branch.
A new report has been added to print those prospects which have quotes.  For example, you can print all quotes for a prospect.  You can also find all prospects where you have quoted an item.
The mail merge options screen now have a new check box to create a map of all prospects found on the report.  All mapping features require Microsoft MapPoint 2002 or higher.*
You can now create recurring appointments and prospect tasks.  Display the prospect and select the Action menu.  There is a new menu option for recurring appointments and prospect tasks.  You can set the number of days between appointments, for example call every 23 days.  The number of weeks, and the number of months.  When setting the number of weeks, you can set the day of the week for the appointment.  When setting the number of months, you can set the day of the month for the appointment.  If the appointment day is Saturday, the system will create the appointment or task on Friday. If Sunday, it will be created on Monday.  The end of month update report in Sales Prospecting will create the appointments and tasks.  It creates any appointments or tasks that should be performed in the next 60 days.
