Faxing Center

Faxing for meter readings and page counts can now use a word template.  This allows you to put your logo on the fax and format the fax to look more professional.  This requires the faxing center that uses Microsoft fax and is not available if you are using winfax for your faxing center.  This requires a reinstall of the faxing center.  Email us for a download link to obtain the installation program.

Accounts Receivable

In the DH, when emailing or printing statements, you now have the choice to include the credits on the account or not
Display and new account.  Added the ship to name for the account.  This is also a search into the customer account
You can now have all emails sent for invoices to be from one email account, for example sales@river-cities.com. To implement this feature, each user must have a "sales rep signature" in the sales plan rep signatures of the sales prospecting program.  When emailing, the system will BCC a copy of the email to the user's email account found in the sales prospecting rep signatures.  Once the rep signatures are set up, go to the GL interface in the accounts receivable program and set the from email address.
The order detail screen has now been changed to two lines for each line item.  The drop ship po number, vendor name, and tracking number have been added to the order detail and the display invoice history. You can edit the tracking number for each line item. 
The backorder report now prints the drop ship po number, vendor name, and tracking number when printing for drop ship orders.
A new option has been added to the general ledger interface tables to not test the shelf count when entering orders.  The screen will not prompt for "ship all", "drop backorder", and "as is" when this is set.
When entering supplies under contract, if the contract type has cpc or cpp as part of the contract type, it will not use the item level pricing as an override to a zero price for the customer.  The program will still use the special prices as an override for zero amount no matter the contract type.  This allows you to create a service contract where the customer pays for toner but gets service included.  The price for the toner can be set in the inventory price levels instead of individually for each customer as a special price.
Drop ship orders, when creating the purchase order, now has a button to display the customer messages.  The screen will also display each time you have purchased the item and the cost of the that purchase.  Double click on a purchase to use that cost in the purchase order.  The profit margin for the item using the selling price and selected cost is displayed as well as the reference cost from inventory and the average cost of the purchases for this item.
Two new bookmarks for word invoices have been added.  The bookmark "custcont" will print the customer contact from the account record.  The bookmark "duedate" will print the due date for the invoice.  The due date is calculated from the invoice date and the terms by adding the number of days in the terms.  If no numeric days, the due date is the same as the invoice date

Contract Billing

The click credits for group invoices were calculating wrong.  This has been fixed.
When displaying a contract master, if you do not have permission for the service manager console, the analyze button is not visible.

General Ledger

You can now enter a 1 character gl number.  Previously the gl number had to be at least two characters long.

Payroll

New York state and New York City withholding has been added.

Reman Production

Printing of bar code labels on production sheets and finish goods now has the option to use the Dymo label printer

Purchase Order

When entering a purchase order, the screen will show the purchase history for the item detailing each vendor and the cost of the item.

When entering a purchase order, the screen will show the quantity already on order for the item.  This is displayed next to the item number.

Sales Prospecting

Sales plan, rep signatures now has a test button to test your email options.

Quotes now will show the margin compared to the last cost. This appears when a new quote is being entered. The margin is displayed next to the amount. You can enter different costs and the profit margin will be calculated again and displayed next to the amount. This is only available if the user has display item permission in inventory.

If a special price is already in the system for the customer, the update special prices will replace it with the current quoted price. Previously, it would not change the special price if it already existed
