Your salesreps can now view, update, and add new prospect information, appointments, prospect tasks, and tasks.
Anything that the rep can do from the prospect screen can now be entered remotely using a web browser.  This allows the reps to update their information after hours, at home or when they are out of the office.
The license fee for the new salesrep web interface is $2250.00.  Introductory pricing is available for $1995.00 until September 30, 2009.  (Fees are in US dollars.  Country specific fees will be different using the World Bank purchasing power parity index)
If you would like to see the web interface in action, give us a call or email to set up a demo.

The empty cartridge broker routines have now been added to the reman system.  You can purchase empties from your customers (or anybody).  Issue a check, place the amount on the customers account as a credit, or the customer can donate the amount to a charity.  The system will even print a donation statement for your customers for their tax returns.
The empties are added to your inventory and can used for cores in the reman process or sold to any customer.
This is a free upgrade for all of our customers that are under a support agreement.

If you have multi warehouses, when you create a new account, the system will automatically assign the class code of the new account to be the first characters of the users multi warehouse location code.
When an order is displayed, if the pick ticket box is not checked, the pick ticket has been printed.  If checked, the pick ticket has not been printed.

Scanning documents now prompts if the document is duplex and the scanner has duplex capabilities.
The purchase history for a customer can now be exported to Excel.

Financial Manager

The sales analysis report now has an option to include the freight (shipping) and/or tax in the upper grid.  The default is to not include these amounts in the analysis.
Special Note:  After running the sales analysis report, use the Filter button at the top of the screen to filter for specific categories.  For example, you only want to see equipment sales on the report.

Inventory

The item record now has a segment number.  This can be used to segment equipment.  The create lists in sales prospecting uses the segment number as a filter to get a list of customers with a specific segment number of machine.

Accounts Payable

When entering a new voucher, and the vendor has messages, the vendor message button is now red.

Service

The email service history button on the machine master screen is now active.
Third party service calls are now active.  When completing a 3rd party service call, the inventory used is NOT removed from your stock.  The voucher for payment of the service call can also be entered here.  The 3rd party service firm should be entered as a tech.  Dispatch the service call to that tech.  The cost of the parts (billed to you) and the labor is used in profitability analysis of the machine.
Service history by technician now prompts for a beginning and ending tech instead of just for one tech.

Service Manager Console

Group profitability can now be analyzed with graphs of supplies under contract, parts under contracts, labor, and revenue.  Display the group and click the analyze button.

Sales Prospecting

The prospect master now has a physical location as well as the mailing address.  Address searches will search both the mailing and physical addresses.
The import prospect from a business card scanner is now operational.  This requires the business card scanner from Cardscan model 600 or higher.
The inventory usage report now includes the customer type field allowing you to group, filter, or sort by the customer type field in the customer record.
The equipment and service tab now have a segment number which is used in creating lists for customers with a specific segment machine.  The machines under the service tab can use the segment number from the inventory record for that model.
The equipment and service tabs now have the leasing company, lease type, and lease term for the piece of equipment.

Contract Billing

The expiration report now has an option to include only group machines.
The expiration list now has the first line of location from the machine master.
The system can now import meter readings from Printfleet for billing and meter history.

Reman

The reman package now has an option to create a purchase order based on the number of cartridges to be made.  For example, if you want to make 100 of a cartridge, the system will create a purchase order for the necessary components.  This uses the finished goods master to determine the quantity of each component used as well as looking to see what you have in stock and what is on order.
Enter the number of each finished good to be made and the screen will display the quantity to order of each component item.  From that display click the button to create a purchase order to the default vendor of the item or from a specific vendor.
